Inverness Caledonian Thistle defender is out for duration

Fans of Caley Thistle will not be too happy to hear that two of their defenders recently picked up injuries and will be out for some time. Kenny Gillet and David Proctor both picked up the same hamstring injury in the match against Dunfermline and so will be leaving a bit of a gap at the back manager Terry Butcher. Lots of Inverness escorts follow the club and hope this will not have too much of an influence on the team's results.
Just 37 minutes into Saturday's match with Dunfermline, Gillit had to be carried from the field on a stretcher. Bizarrely, it was Proctor who came on to the pitch to replace the injured player. He then of course pulled his own hamstring and was substituted himself. Luckily, his replacement did not get injured.
Butcher is bracing himself for not having the players available for up to a month and said: “It didn’t look great for either of them on Saturday. I think we could be without them both for some considerable time.” Despite the injuries not being fully assessed as yet, the gaffer is certainly not optimistic about having the pair back any time soon.
This is on top of previous injuries which have affected Butcher's team selections, and the manager is certainly getting tired all the bad luck: “Add to that the fact Josh Meekings is still out with an ankle problem, then it’s three defenders we are going to have injured.I don’t know any other team in the SPL that’s had the problems we’ve had defensively because last season we also had a horrendous run with injuries.”
Currently joint bottom at in the Scottish Premier league, Caley Thistle has but one point from a potential 12 along with Aberdeen and St Johnstone. Hopefully luck and results will take a turn for the better before long.
